Women Teaching Women English (WTWE): Textbook

Working in conjunction with four authors at the University of Oregon, the U.S. Embassy Beirut and the Hayya Bina organization, I created over 100 original illustrations to accompany the text. These materials were designed to be interactive and maintain integrity under low-resource conditions over time.  They are currently in use in more than 28 educational settings throughout Lebanon.

American Village English Access (AVEA) Teens Camp

The American Village English Access (AVEA) program was the result of a partnership between the local schools and the US State Department, Regional English Language Office in Amman. It was an English immersion outreach summer day-camp for teenagers in rural Jordan. In conjunction with University of Oregon staff, I developed an arts-based curriculum and oversaw the workshop and organization of Peace Corps volunteers while at the camp. This program is still operational since its founding in 2008.
